Same here.Left the house about 6:30 home by 8:00.Took the dogs about ten minutes to hit a track.Run the track about 200yrds and treed.Got in there and had two.Now the front has come through and its getting colder and the wind is blowing 15-20.

Its 27 here and the wind chill makes it feel like 15.So when it gets below 30 my buddy stays in.I think i will have a short hunt and stay in the house. When it gets that cold here its hard to get anything going.I hunt walkers so probably more slick trees on a night like tonight than coon.

Looks like i made a good decision.Sometimes when it gets like this it hurts a dog more than it helps them.

Sounds like you have a coondog or a lot of coon.I have a hard time treeing two on a good night.

Thats how old my female is.She was running track at 5months old.The ice storm we had last january really hurt my hunting.Plus all the water.I hunt in the river bottoms and the river is up and down so all the good places are flooded.
