a good day of bear huntin!!

treed this small sow in maine this morning. man was she beautiful. she is still running the woods, hoping she makes it through kill season. found the bears feeding in the oak pretty heavy not far from the red pine she treed in.

As much as I'm Scared silly of bears...and think they are creepy looking... Some of the black ones are darned purty... this is a Beautiful sow!
CONGRATS and hope you get to see her again some day!

Nice Pic !!

Enjoy following your bear season.

Good to see thought put into whether too harvest or not.

Don't get me wrong ! Nothing wrong with taking any critter with fair chase. Just good to see that sometimes a critter doesn't meet expectations , pics taken and off for another drop.

Any pics with the hounds on the tree...

Jim
