Members Mark = Purina feeds from Sams

Went to Sams club to buy 50lb Dog Chow with the rebate checks because I cant find dog food worth the money. I have a few im not hunting. Dog Chow 22.95-7=18.18 after tax for 50lbs. Members Mark Complete Nutrition 17.95 for 50 lbs, looking over the bag it is made by Nestle and is the same as Chow(even says comparable to dog chow). Here is the link for MM. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/na...tem=379524#Spec

There was another bag said Comparable to High Pro, u guessed it made by Nestle, so all you High Pro fanciers can still buy it. I cant find the link on it.

I can say one thing, Purina makes my blood boil. They are a corporate run company. I been trying to get away from them but I cant find feed with out paying 25 + a bag. The dog feed industry is a joke.......This company thinks its buyers are ignorant.

wrong.. this company KNOWS that the majority of it's buyer are ignorant. tons of people think purina is a great feed because of all of the advertising they do preaching it to people. no one researches anything for themselves.

We used the Exceed performance dog food they sell at Sam's Club for along time. Had the same percentage and ingredients as Pro Plan performance at alot cheaper cost. Dog's did great on it. Just to far to go get it and the dogs get to hot in summer for it.

i have been using the southern states for a few months 24/20 for 16.95 and reall like it. if you join their club they send out
$5 checks twice a year after buying so many bags. i bought about 10 bags from mar to july 1 and got 3 $5 check . you have to give your name each time before they ring it up. but my dogs stool is better than ever. i used up the bal of my purina checks 4 bags and their stool was very loose again. try it you will like it.

I just bought a bag of the MM hi pro yesterday.I am gonna give it a try.

I was feeding Exceed also, it is good food, but my dogs heated up on it also.

I love Pro Plan, but $42 a bag is STEEP.

We have bought Purina Dog Chow from Sams Club since they came here 3 years ago.

When they opened, we paid $15.88 for a 55 pound bag of Purina Dog Chow.

Now that same bag is 50 pounds, and costs $22.88 plus tax. So in May we switched to Members Mark, which was $17.58 for 50 pounds.
Last month it went up to $21.78.

Well, obviously I am not going to feed Members Mark if it is only a dollar cheaper if I am not going to get my purina points... so back to Purina we went.

Went back yesterday and Members Mark is back down to $17.58. Guess we weren't the only ones who had a problem with that new price! Still, it made me mad the way they tried to jack the price up, so bought Purina again.

We used to feed everyone Diamond, then we lost a dog to the recall and went to Purina. Been with them for nearly 4 years now, but just can't afford to keep paying more for less. Still keep our prego girls on Purina Pro Plan, but geez... $23 a bag for plain dog chow is rediculous!
