Ga Youth Hunters Please Read Need Input

Alright Guys and Gals we are trying to put on some more Youth hunts around the state and need to hear from you guys what you want to see from us to get the attendance up. I know most of you will say big prizes and we will do our best but be specific. Do you want lights, dog boxes, collars, other equipment? Do you want just one or 2 big prizes or do you want alot of smaller prizes so everyone gets something???
Do you want different activities like treeing contest, water races, feild trails, dash races, or just hunt and show?????

I am trying to make this fun for you guys so I really need your input....please respond. if you don't want to post then call me and we can talk.

You got to remember now that times are tough and most clubs don't have alot of money so we will do what we can.

My kids say adding a water race would be good. Since my kids are small and not too good of handlers yet, I think having some small prizes like collars or leashes would be good to give everyone that enters, that way they all get something and feel like winners! Of course, a couple of bigger prizes like lights and dog boxes for the the overall winners are always good to get numbers up.

Hey Sam! This is Priscilla

I am in Waycross with Scarlett and borrowing her computer & user name since I can't remember my password. (LOL) Taylor of course wants big prizes (imagine that) & her and Chase both enjoy the water races. Very Very few clubs in GA put on water races and field trials so those having those events gives everyone a chance to attend and participate that normally would not have an opportunity.

Big prizes like trophies taller than the kid and dox boxes and lights are a good draw but I do agree with Scarlett lots of small stuff for all the kids will be good so they all feel like they are winners. Of course any way Shawn and I can help with this stuff we will be glad to.

So my kids say WATER RACE, FIELD TRIAL, BENCH SHOW and NITE HUNT! We'll be there!!

Hey My name is Taylor Jackson, im not at kid or a parent yet either, but i think the "bunch of little prizes" is best. I think the point of having youth hunts is to get the youth involved in our sport. The kid thats gonna win these hunts has probably been doing it a while and isnt gonna quit just because he/she didnt win a dog box or whatever. But the shy kid that its his/her first time, and isnt sure yet wins a collar will leave happy and want to do it again. just my input
