Tribute to a Friend

I hope that you will tune into CARNIVORE this week as we pay tribute to a friend, Kevin Connor NC Trooper who was killed in the line of duty. The major networks did not cover his death as it did not fit their political agenda.
Kevin was killed by a punk with a long rap sheet when he was pulled over on a routine traffic stop. Had Kevin killed the thug, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Obama would have been in NC the next day, yelling police brutality.
This is our attempt to pay tribute to a great young man who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

we talked about those situations a few days ago...if it doesn’t fit the news media’s agenda it is not reported...

Also, cops tend to be very cautious because of past experiences and I am sure there is data out there that supports why they are so cautious with certain situations...as a result sometimes they go over the line...unfortunately the media picks and chooses what they want to report...

There are a lot more good cops than bad cops but the media doesn’t care about that...

I live in the same area where Kevin lived and I only had the pleasure of meeting him one time but I was impressed at how nice of a guy that he was. I have never heard anything but good about him. Thanks for featuring Kevin on your show, you did a great job of paying tribute to him.

I ain't got the words, many thanks.

To much of this is happening to those who are just trying to do their job and working to keep us safer. Just over thr weekend another highway patrolman was needlessly shot and killed in East St. Louis while serving a warrant. He was a younger man with a beautiful family. Thank you Gary for using your show to pay tribute to a fallen hero.

I saw this thread and went and watched the show. Thanks for sharing, what a mess this country is in. It's open season on law enforcement it seems and the media seems to be fanning the flames by painting all law enforcement in a bad light.

Law Enforcement

Walk a mile in any law enforcement officers shoes before anyone judges them. Let's see all the naysayers attitude after a mile or two in their shoes. Same with our military guys and girls, walk some in their shoes before you respond to some action that might seem harsh. Put your life on the line and see how you think and react. In reality, there are not many willing to do this day in and day out. I say support our troops and our law enforcement to the fullest. Give them all the benefit of any doubts when their lives hang in a split second decision. Is that a gun? What's he reaching for? You get the point. Dave
