Hope I'm now opening up a big can of worms I'm looking to breed a really nice female looking for a dog that's has sired litters from multiple females that has produced coon dogs I'm not kennel blind in the least bit would hope the dog be $kc and UKC reg ukc performance will work. Going to regret this but what's some of your guy's or gal's opinions thanks Craig

Ok. IMO, alot will tell you pedigrees do not tree coon.. but I will tell you, I believe some bloodlines cross very well with some bloodlines. Watching what dogs are winning, treeing coon, and looking at pedigrees, you get an idea of this.. so.. in NO particular order.. I would consider...

Please remember, these are just my opinions. If there is a weakness in you female you want improved, ask for puppy references. If you want a warmer nose, colder nose.. whatever, ask..talk to puppy owners... Not stud owners... do not make up your mind after your female comes into heat... Know well before. You will feel better about the cross... Remember.... IMO... Good luck.

where are you located craig? and are you willing to travel aways. Sometimes location can help narrow down your options.

I have hunted wth a few out of Smokey. Bo Diddly was not bred at all before he made world ch Bluetick 2015. He had just turned 3 I believe. Just has a heck of a pedigree.
Jensen, if you like solid Smokey River Check out Tramp II or Tramp's Shadow.

Maverick

Grnitech grch Nolan creek prides maverick has sired multiple litters with good results. Dogs that can't be bought and some that have been bought for a big price. Maverick is a coondog. He is SS for 2017 for PKC and will be performanced for UKC. He just bred 3 females. Come hunt with him anytime. Not sure of your location but he does have some good pups around I can give references too.

Maverick is out of bodacious and double smokey river female
There are other good stud dogs out there that have reproduced. Best of luck in whoever you choose.

I have always been interested in hunting with Mr Jack and his Tramp dogs but havent had the chance yet. I have raised a few grand pups to tramp and one turned out to be a pretty good dog. I will defiantly try to give him a call when I make my way back down south.

Bo Diddly

It was my choice to not breed any females to him. I don't own a stud dog nor will I ever. I just do my best to own and hunt a coon dog. I had some guys call and want to breed a female to him before I granded him out and I turned them down. Sorry but that was my choice. I sold Bo Diddly after the world hunt last year and plan on breeding him to my female when she comes in. Thanks to all who have and will consider him and the kind words as,well. Good luck to all. There is the Boomen Jet dog off Boomer in Wis.
Bocephous down south
Both of the last 2 blue dogs left in the world hunt went back to old Sadie witch was off Rambo.

Any thing you do might work or it might not but you have to do something to find out GOOD LUCK
