Help!

I have a 11 month old Reezen pup that has not been messed with much do to work. He will not hunt with other dogs, but will take off and go by himself. I've heard him run game. Very loud! What do you some of you think? Still keep working with him? I figured since he would hunt by himself it would be harder to figure it out. When the old dogs tree would you walk him up to the tree and shoot the coon out to him? Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

Shoot no don't lead him to treed dogs. If he will hunt by himself just put him in the right situations ( maybe a caged coon or a drag a couple of times so he can see what you want him to be running) then I'd keep hunting the hair off of him v

the best one's are trained alone ! a couple of feeders will help put him in coon !

Thanks for the help guys! This is the first time trying to train a dog on my own. He's got the looks and the mouth. If he will get the hunting and treeing part down, "to me" he would be the perfect dog.

steve I disagree as a coon whipping a young dog can ruin them for life ! I like there first coon to hit the ground dead ! but what do I know !

I wouldnt care to throw a kitten coon on him but i don't think he could handle a adult coon.

This is how most Full contact coon training usually goes
but these were only 6 month old pup and 1 8 month old pup ..

Make your self a good Catch pole .. Always good to have one around. That one has Vinyl Coated cable thru a Heavy 3/4" Alum pipe the end of the pipe has a very small 1/2 pulley and the other end has a cable lock.

We have a very large Training pen. it 60' long X 8' high X 16 wide .. All Weld Wire .. Coons can climb up the Sides and across the roof if they want
