Frank,This the first one I have missed in 5 yrs and its driving me nuts.Sitting here with a swollen left knee with not good news from doctor today.But on a good note I just got a phone call from my sons and the dogs are treed with a coon.Lol

Yea I want to know if they are going to enforce the Breed Standards.....or did they change them to favor cross-breds...

Sec. Jesse Devore
Membership Sec to be announced. This is not an elected posistion
New Board memebrs are
Lovis Burns
Shane Ayers
Chad McCoin
Steve Lilly
Jamie Perrin will be taking over the Youth program since Jesse is going to take over the Sec position.

STud dog was Duelin Dan
Breeder was Tony Grubs again
PP dog was Ky River X man
Lifetime Member - Doc Vinson

Nothing major I can remember. A few ammendments to the Rules and procedures. The Youth Scholarship has been fully funded so were going to start giving bigger scholarships.

Nothing has changed with breed standards. It was tried last year and the general membership voted it to leave it as is.

B & T Days will be in NW Ohio next year.

Ditto that.... Doc has been a great supporter of this breed.

It looks like some genuine coonhunters are elected as officers and board members. I wish them well in the coming year as they guide this organization to the top of all breed organizations.

Congrats to Duelin Dan as Stud of the year. I've sure enjoyed my Dan pup for many years.

Congrats to that Ky River Gang AGAIN... They sure are hard to knock off that top spot year after year.

a couple of things that was brought up, is now the youth scholarship is fully funded ($40,000.00). Pretty good in only 4 yrs. Since it is fully funded it was brought up that we can now have some fund raisers to fully fund the WHIF program so we don't have to buy an insurance policy.

Also the rulse and policy procedure was changed to have the excutive board vote on where B & T days will be at the next year. In the past it has been done by the V. Pres and his committee. There will still be a site selection committe but they will just review all applicants and check out the bids and fairgrounds and then turn them over to the committee to vote on the site.
The new way is how it was done this year.
