Expediate Registration
How long does it usually take to get papers back if you choose to pay extra for overnight back to you?
As long as you write "Next Day Air" on the outside of the envelope, next to our address when you send the papers to us, we'll process them the day we receive them and you'll have them back the following business day.
Well I was wondering this because I had never registered a dog and got a redbone I was going to take to US Redbone Days I sent the papers in a week before the hunt. It showed on my credit card they took my money for the papers and overnight return out the tuesday before the hunt which means thats when they were received and I did not get them in the mail till the following monday. that was almost a week after ukc received my papers. I was just a little disappointed I paid the overnight fee that took almost a week to process. Other than that everything seemed very good. Thank You
Did you write "Next Day Air" on the outside of the envelope when you sent the papers to us, like it says to do on all of our papers? If not, this would be the reason for the delay. If you did, please give me the dog's UKC number and I can check into it for you.
Yes I did on each side of the address in big bold letters.
His number is W234,936
I did some chicking and it's noted in our system that the outside of the outermost envelope did not have "Next Day Air" written on it.
Well I sent it myself and that is correct it didnt have "NEXT DAY AIR" on it but I wrote "RUSH" in huge letters on each side of address because according to the puppy papers you could put "Next Day Air" or "RUSH" on the envelope. I dont know who sorts that stuff as you get them but there was no way to miss that on the envelope I sent in.
Our Rush service will ensure that your papers are processed within 5 business days so we do not always open envelopes marked Rush the same day we receive them. If the outer envelope did not indicate Next Day Air, we would not have known to open your envelope immediately.
Why does under the expediate part it say to write "rush" or "next day air" on outside of envelope for expediate it should just say write "next day air" if thats the case.
It means that if you're paying for RUSH service to write RUSH on the envelope and if your paying for Next Day Air service, to write Next Day Air on the outside of the envelope.
