They keep saying something broke on Juan Pablo's car. But it looked to me like he was pre-occupied with his vibration and came up on the trucks too fast and panicked.
If you watch the replay , the sparks don't start till after he gets sideways.
Trying to stop got him into trouble. He should have just went ahead and gone into the turn at speed. Sure , he would have got a penalty. But , it wouldn't have been as bad as wrecking his car.

that was the only part of the race that wasn't boring. if this type of racing is the way the whole season is going to be I'm not going to watch much of it. can't race cause the car's will over heat. WHAT A JOKE

same thing happened to his teammate Jamie Mcmurray . spmething broke and on mcmurrays car and he took out half the field , i dont know why montoya wouldve got a penalty though ? i thought they took the wave around and when you do that you can run full telt until you catch the field for the restart ? either way this was the worst daytona race in a long time !!!

we need some good ole country boys back in raceing. its hard for me to relate to the drivers that are out there now. i aint seen a driver with dirty hands in years lol.

I agree. very rare do u see a driver under the hood in the garage. Seem's like it's all about the money and " how pretty do i look ".

we need country boys alright, but we really need to scrap all those cloned cars and get some real race cars for a change.

I know Jamie's car broke , that's where they got the excuse from.
But , no , they can't go "full tilt" around the safety crews.
Even on the wave around , they still have to use "caution" around the safety crews.
