Name Mess Up
I just recently bought a pup and was filling her registration papers out and realized afterwards that I spelled the beginning of her name (the bloodline) wrong. Well, I marked through the old name and wrote a new one. But, the spaces they gave me ran out and the last 2 letters of her name wasn't in the provided spaces, but continued on out beside them. Will UKC still accept the full name even though the 2 letters weren't in the spaces, or will they just cut them off on her papers!?

BTT. I just want to know if UKC will accept the name. Has that happened to anyone else?

Yes, you ourt to get cut off at some pint. Whatever happened to a plain old Speck these days? Don't see much of that'n anymore. Kind of like Debbie.
I think UKC has a policy of not accepting papers that have any crossouts, blackouts, or erasures. Read around on the papers- I think it says that. You may have to order replacement papers- or call UKC.

Wonderful advice.
Just include a note explaining what you did, and why, and with the dog's correct name printed out.

Actually you need to fill out an affadavit that you download from UKC's website. All it basically says is that you screwed up...and it costs $10 in conjunction with the regular registration fee.
I bought a dog on pup papers that the seller's son filled in a name on but it was not anything that I wanted. I filled out the paperwork, sent it in, and it came back just as I wanted in the same amount of time as a regular set.
