Need help, 10 wk.old pup won't eat.

I bought a ten week old pup this past Saturday. It looked extremely healthy. Today is Thursday and I can't get her to eat anything since I have had her. I've tried Purina Puppy Chow, Sportsmix, canned puppy food, canned dog food, and hot dogs. Yesterday she ate a hot dog but today she won't even smell of it.

She is loosing weight but still runs and plays. It is extremely hot here though, 95; that could be the cause. I don't know. I wormed her and gave her a 7-1 shot yesterday.

Any advice would be appreciated. I will take her to the vet tomorrow.

you didnt say anything about drinking. if she is not drinking or eating, could be the heat or something else. best to see vet to test. maybe parvo or some bad worms. have you wormed her since you brought her home?

ALSO MIGHT FIND OUT WHAT THE PREVIOUS OWNERS WERE FEEDING HER AND IF SHE WILL EAT IT, SLOWLY TRANSITION HER TO WHATEVER FOOD YOU ARE FEEDING.

Take her temp. Its funny how many folks have a dog that appears sick but never take a temp. also if she's had any bowel movements what's it look and smell like?

Thanks, she is still not eating and hasn't had a bowel movement since Sunday. Will take her to vet as soon as they open. Thanks again for your help.

HAM, sandwich sliced deli ham was the answer. She went crazy for it, then I mixed some with puppy chow and milk and she finally ate something.
