Last lion pics of season

Treed this lion in January, but my camera did not make it to the tree. Clint & I got a call that a rancher had a cat track and wanted us to come and run it for him. It was too late in the day to head that way, so we told him we would be there in the morning. When we arrived, there was a flock of people anxiously awaiting our arrival. The rancher, his nephews, neighbors, friends, etc. "Dear Lord, do not let our dogs act like retards today" LOL
The dogs did a great job, and everyone had a great day. There were lots of cameras at the tree, just not mine, so it took me awhile to get these pics in my hot little hands!!! The cat was a jumper, and not very photogenic, but I thought they got some great shots of the dogs, so thought I would share. Enjoy!!

lookin good , when yall say a jumper does the dogs ever catch him like they do a bear ? they put up much fight ? do the dogs ever out power em an stretch 1 ?

C. Burns 17.........a jumper is one that will not stay in the tree. They keep jumping, and retreeing. Very rarely do the dogs ever catch one on the ground.

There were several people there that had never been on a lion hunt, including a man that has numerous hounds that he uses to run coyotes. He had a great time and so did everyone else.
