Tracer Lites
What do hunters think ,good or bad about the tracer lite for the tri tronic shock collars? let me know. THANKS!!
Save your money and buy tracker FLASH light. you can get them for around 20 bucks and they are more visible the the tracer light. JMO

Positives:
•On/Off is remotely controlled by transmitter, range depends on system.
•Never have to replace the batteries, run time last forever
•Bright enough.
•Two modes, strobe and constant.
•Solid, rugged and durable design.
•It's a Tri-tronics, American Made; Has warranty and they're very good to stand behind their products even after the warranty's up.
Negatives:
•Their are none,
I have two tracers and two trackers and I guess you could say that price for function comparison; The tracers and tracker compare and perform equally and exceptionally well, the only deciding factor would have to be the tracers price.
The tracers operation by remote function is invaluable for me. The best scenario I can think of to illustrate a situation where this my be handy would be on a night hunt. For example: You run your Tri-tronics collar with tracer lights on your dog in a night hunt. Time out gets called due to dogs nearing the road, first thing I do when I get back to the truck is turn on my tracer light!

20. Any person caught using any device used to con- trol or locate dog during hunting time, will be barred indefinitely. GPS locating device may be turned in the on position during hunting time but only if transmitter is left in vehicle. Transmitters for electronic training collars must be left in vehicle and may not be used by handler or spectators until dog wearing device is scratched and all other dogs are recovered for re-casting. (For time out periods see rule 6(l). Lighted collars are not considered to be a locating device and are allowed.
rule 20 here says transmitters may not be used until all dogs are recovered. I have a dog that is broke to return on a tone, but in a hunt I can not use this feature as per this rule.
