how to get a dog to stop leaving the tree

I'd give that a lot of hard thought. Fixing that problem with a dog you have is one thing, buying into that problem up front is prolly not a very good idea. It can be fixed but it has a way of coming back at the worst times. The guys I know that fix that problem use a TriTronics.

I'll agree with Jim even if you had a good dog to train it with.

I HONESTLY DON'T THINK I'D BUY THE DOG. I'M SURE IT COULD BE TRAINED TO STAY AT THE TREE BY A GOOD TRAINER, BUT WHY BOTHER? THERE'S PLENTY OF GOOD DOGS OUT THERE IN OUR COONHOUND WORLD, GET A DOG THAT'S STAYING PUT. WOULD YOU BUY A CAR IF IT HAD A ROD KNOCKING IN THE MOTOR?

At a year and a half , this dog has had enough coon out to it that it should be treeing by now. If it ain't , it probably never will.
Save your money !
