Well, i was a bluetick man and I'm gone walker. LOL LOL I have a 4 year old male out of Lippers Cade and Fryars Liza Jane that i LOVE. Naturally straight, accurate, hard hunting, Loud, fast and very very good looking. I've hunted with LOTS of walker dogs out of ALL kinds of different pedigrees and this dog makes me happy. I am proud to own him.

.

One thing that you should consider is what group of Walkers are doing it in your area. There are top hounds is most of the different breeding but not all perform well in certain areas. I would look at some of the hunt results or see who may be breeding dogs in your area and check them out.
Good Luck in finding a good dog.

I have a good cross.

I have a pup left out of a cross I made this last summer. I took my Tx Lotto female and crossed her with a Grnite out of X Jr. This stud dog is a reproducer; and he placed 10th in the world. These pups are 3 months old and will run a drag and tree it. These pups are 4 time nailor bred. I have a Cabo Wabo female and she is Skuna River Bark and X Jr on bottom. I will be crossing her next yr with xtreme X is out of two world champs. This female had her first split at 5months old and now she hunts alone and gets treed fast. This will be a powerful cross.
