We hunted with him last fall when we bred our bitch to him. He was a wild hunting SOB but stayed treed for a hour. The pups we raised are natrauls, 6 months old and treeing coons like they were trained to do it.

Don't know much about freakshow himself but, he has thrown some of the nicest walker pups I've seen yet. Drew one last year 9 mo. and he got through the country and got treed everytime we turned loose. Also seen a little female 8 mo. that was doing a nice job this year.

There are lots of nice dogs off of freak. Merchant's Barney II dog is off freak, and there are several more that are being stood at stud. He has thrown some super nice pups. Have owned a few myself that have been finished out in the hunts that were winners. Sounds like a little jealousy has found to be talking about Ball again!

I have hunted different strain of walkers but I have never hunted any that was as smart and as quick learning as T Ball line all you have to do is carry them to the timber Im hunting his line right now I have 2 pups off Dredd which is off of Harry and one is 4 months old and is just a natural. I have talked with T Ball several times and I will say this he has made a lifetime killing off his hounds. I called him to buy some seman off Harry $1000 a straw was going to buy 2 straws I had a 5 year old MNT Time Savage Gyp I was going to breed to Harry seman and he convinced me to breed her to Freak didnt make but $200 off me and could have made $2k She had 9 pups off Freak 7 of them went to pleasure hunters 2 I kept my 2 was running and treeing by 5 months old and I tried to keep up with the others but last I heard one of the pleasure hunters I sold a female too sold here to a guy in FL for $1500 at year and half old said she put them under 8 coon the night he sold her I am not going to knock a man that has produced a line of hounds like he has T Ball , Joe House, John Monroe, Mike Dohoney, Lonnie Mears and James Merchant are Legends in my book.

This thread is a little old, but thanks for the good information guys. I've got a NTCH female that's Ball's Gold x Tina Turner, and a friend of mine suggested we breed her to Freak Show when I got ready. Hadn't heard much about him myself, but sounds like he's thrown some nice pups. Just might be a good cross on my girl!
