Never A Newbie Around When...

Never do have a "Newbie" around when you need one.........

Loaded Pride up and rode over to 2 Mules' last night. We cut Pride and after a few mins he hit a track. he trailed around alittle bit then started locating and locating and locating and locating.... I knew something wasn't right. When we got to him he had trailed out onto a down tree and was hung up it. I finally was able to get him off that and he keeps going. Once he got back to land he went about 5 yards and then up a tree. The coon had gone up the tree and down a limb across the creek. We got him out of the tree and sent him across the creek. He went about 50 yards and came treed. This was one smart coon as he wasn't in this tree either.

Had the "Newbie" been with me she could have gone and gotten Pride for me and I could have stayed dry.

2 Mules trying to stay dry......

Naw he stayed dry. The water never got above his boots... Me on the other hand..... Didn't have my waders and the water was up to my knees.

that stick idea is something i wish i would've tried before i fell in a under water hole last year. i knew better but i went under up to my neck, the 2 people with me stayed on the bank and laughed their butts off. im glad they didn't have a camera!

Hobo, thanks for sharing your adventures.I always enjoy reading and seeing photos of cooners doing what we all enjoy.Even though I'm no longer physically capable of following the hounds I do get to sit in the truck or on the gator and hear the music.LQQKS as if Pride is gonna make a dandy!
