Cowee Creek Clint?

Is anyone hunting a dog out of him? What are your likes/dislikes about the dog?Does anyone have the current nite and grand nite champs he has produced?

I have a 1 1/2 year old female out of him at 7-8 months old she was doing a great job. we had a real cold winter and she was not hunted much now she will bark a little on track but nothing on tree. Sent her out of state to be run but no luck as yet.

I have a friend of mine that has a REALLY nice F out of clint he priced her to a guy for $3,000 but he did not want to give that much. I tell you she is a coon dog she can work a old cold track and she will get it treed and have the meet. She will go by herself and go as far as she has to to get one treed. she is 3 now. I think he made her a nitch in 3 or 4 hunts. Last time I talked to him he said he was going to keep her and a buddy of mine is going to start hunting her in some hunts and grand her out. I am not sure what she is out of on the bottom. Oh ya she has about the biggest mouth I have ever hard on a F, she will cover up most M dogs. She wil get by herself about 1/2 to 3/4 of the time when she is hunted with other dogs

Chad C. in Iowa bred his Gr.NT Tess to him almost 2 years ago. I think she had 7 pups. As far as I know 3 of them are Nt. Ch's. At least one of them has wins toward Gr. and is in the top Iowa PKC standings. Chad has a female that needs a first out of that litter. He just hasn't had her in the hunts much. Not a bad cross I would say.

You don't want to breed to him.

HE MIGHT THROW YOU A BENCH SHOW DOG THAT CAN TREE A COON!!!

How are they for track speed and accuracy?

Samhain:

All joking aside about Clint. I know for a fact that his is throwing some nice pups. Bench show AND competition dogs.

Jim McConnell in Franklin NC used to own Clint and he is the one that sold him to Bob Dudley.

Jim hunts several pups off of Clint, and very few have had a problem finishing out to NTCH. Whether it's the dog, or the handler. I know of one, CH NTCH'PR'Cowee Creek Stylish Spice who made NTCH in very few hunts, and dosent like much being GRNTCH. Jim's son Jeremy also hunted a male named Sam off Clint that made NTCH in 3 hunts. He has hunted Clint pups since he sold him, and has finished quite a few to NTCH.

We hunted against him once and all 4 dogs got scratched for the 1 hour rule on the second turn out. The dogs went DEEP, deep, but they had the coon. To late to score it though.
That's about all the information I can give you.

CH K-9 PINES SGT. SANTANA

I am hunting a 3 yr old Male off Clint. He is a HUGE walker. another 1/2 inch and he would be out of breed standard. I put a show title on him with very little effort. Black headed and black back, big blocky head and a super loud mouth. He will cover most other dogs he is run with. Medium nose and does like to get off by himself.
I have not comp hunted him YET but we have been running the hair off him the past few months and he looks great. Could use a bit more tree power but the nose makes up for it in my opinion.
Have had several pup's Sired by San and all reports are coming in good. His oldest pup's are about 1 1/2 now.
I was offered $3,000 for him and had to turn it down. I know that he will be a name to recognise in the future.
Go see him at http://personalpages.tds.net/~k9pines/page5.html
