My Ancestors with a huge Spring WV Bear

I wont be on the cpu for a few weeks so im gonna post these real fast.
Spring Sheep Killer with my Grandfather standing to the far right...
People Pictured...Ed Evans(My Grandfather), Bill Hedrick, Chris Rohrbaugh, John Jones, Carl Hedrick, Les Jones, Kermit and Snuffy Jones, Virgil Stonestreet and Gabe Evans(killed the Bear).

Above picture was stuck to the frame so i had to take them with a digital, picture does not do size of the bear justice, in person it looks huge. Pictured with Penny Harman owner of Harmans North Fork Cottages.

448lb. Spring Sheep Killer killed in 1959 or 60'

Sammy

Bought a female from Sammy bout 10 years ago we just bred her we have 3 pups from her 5 months old Tha Male is going nuts on a coon and has been bitten . I was sorry to hear about sammy I had some good Laughs with him . John

Yeah sammy was a good guy. Im good friend with his cousins the Reed family, and most of the Jones boys. Great guys to be around and hunt with.

dads name was charles shaver he was a preacher in Elk Garden. Had some coon dogs none ever had papers and most were free. i think he paid like 10 bucks for one one time. we still have lead splitters that snuffy gave dad.
