Road Trip Revisited

Hello Everyone,

I would bet most every one here has seen the post about Ben Crocker's Road Trip dog.

This post is a little different. Rather than make post asking for his return I would like to honor Trip and Ben for their accomplishments in their short time together by posting pictures of Trip's pups. I think it would be really nice if everyone who has a Trip pup could post a picture of their pup in their sire's honor.

So I will start off with pictures of #2 son's young Trip pup Rain. Rain has been a joy for my son to raise. I can't tell you how badly I wanted a young dog that would turn out for him, and Rain has many special qualities to become special to my son.

Bittersweet's Midnight Rain (Trip and Crocker's Susie)

The above picture is Rain on her 3rd trip to the woods by herself.

This is a picture of the results from that tree. Nope she isn't a finished dog; nope she isn't perfect, but she has become a part of our family.

Thank you Ben for all your help ... I do hope your prayers are answered.

I've been taking pictures of about every Trip pup I hunt with whether mine or buddy's. Gosh I think the walker breed lost a good one when Trip was stolen. Not just saying that cause I owned him but I have hunted with several pups out of several different females and am just amazed what these pups are doing. Trip ended with around 130 pups from his first and only year of breeding and his oldest are just turning 17 months old. I will start posting pictures in a couple days when I get them all loaded on my photobucket. Can't wait to see all of these get posted on here in memory of Trip. Danny Holley has as much to do with Trip and his accomplishments as I do. He will be tickled to see this post as well. Thanks Larry.

Im kicking myself in the arse for not buying that trip pup you told me about 5 or 6 months ago. I told Wemple that there would be plenty more and ill wait until im 100% ready for one. Guess that was a mistake. Its a **** shame he hasn't been returned.

I got a good female off Koda and Trip. She's just getting out of heat right now. Also bought Eagan's female from the cross cause he's getting out of hunting for a bit. Her name is ROAD ICE and is the only pup off Trip that I know of with a wild clover blue eye! Don't need her but figured I'd put some time on her and get her placed in the right hands.

My Trip pup Sissy split tonight with the meat... She is 9 1/2 mths old... Not a very good pic (off my phone) but it will work for now... Ill get some better ones on here soon!!!

Some pretty nice pictures guys! Ben, you are very welcome. Hey Rain trees just like her brother's picture. Most of the time her chest is flat against the tree with both front legs and feet hugging the tree. Does Woody mix it up like Trip? Rain bawls and chops on tree much like her daddy's video. She still has puppy squeaks, but every now and then you will hear her grown-up dog voice.

PS I don't know about anyone else but I tired!!!!!!
