Something to help old dog with joint pain

Got an old dog that is 11. Still has the heart to tree them but his legs seem to bother him. I just want to let him enjoy the woods once or twice a month but would like something to make it more comfortable for him.

Remadyl is a prescription but will make him feel like a young dog again. Just like with humans NSAIDS give it with a little food so it doesn't cause problems with the lining of his stomach.
There are steroids that can also help with joint inflammation and arthritis pain. You should have him on glucosamine if he's not already.
