Weezey Heat was a good one. Placed high in world hunt. Don't hold me to it but maybe placed 2nd. It's been awhile

Started a bunch of them and sold them to comp hunters. I kept one named Duke. Was a slower starter but came on fast once he started. Hunted on the run ,ran head up on a track , good mouth and he really was a bug eyed tree dog . He was right out of Heat and had Heat 2 more times in 3 generations . Wish I would have comp hunted when I had him , he was a real nice one and still probably in the top 5 of dogs I've owned .

I hunted with Heat several times and he was one of my all-time favorites. Smart dog. He knew exactly where the coon was in the tree. If the coon was out on a limb Heat would be sitting directly under it. And he would quit treeing as soon as you started shining waiting for the coon to fall. Always made me laugh. Saw it several times.

That is weird you say that Heat was like that, my Dad had a dog named Mr Cool grandson to Nite Heat, he was the same way. Best walker I've seen in the woods! Don't know gary.
