I think Sombody said there is around 600 dogs entered at autum oaks how many coons do you think will be treed by that amount of dogs ?

BETTER QUESTION HOW MANY TREES WILL BE CIRCLED ? 1 COON SEEN FOR EVERY 3 TREES MADE ? LOL

My guess would be around 3 or 4 per cast and that might be high. We always have these big discussions about those 1500 point casts (less since they went to the new GrNtCh format) but we seem to forget about all the casts won with 200 or 300 and of course those dead casts. Out of the 150 or so casts that go to the woods, maybe 3 or 4 coons plussed per cast I'm thinking.

Jim I always enjoyed hunting up there we always treed at least three but that was when the dogs still packed a lot of people don't know this I was born in layfayete Indiana our farm was in battle ground that's where I heard my first hound we moved to Texas when I was ten the people that had those hounds last name was herr been hooked ever since lol.

There is still 500 acres belongs to the family my brother and I inherited 100 acres of it so officially lol. I haven't been back since my grandmother passed they still farm it this down here is home now.

They trying to get up a $20,000 challenge in the same spot I ain't driving 16 hrs but I would hunt for a $100 down here Allen could judge I probly get beat but it would be worth it knowing they was fixen to get eat up with chiggers lol.



Probly about 12 hours in to their drive home the full effect would hit them lol.
