Ear cuts

Does anybody have a good remedy to stop bleeding ear cuts? I have had it happen a few times where they cut the tip of their ear and it is really difficult to stop the bleeding.

Flour works very good.

Flour if you have nothing else and wrap ear to the head so they can't shake it. Super glue is normally what I do.

Get you a tube of EMT Gel, it works fast, easy to use and stays on real well and last but not least works even when bleeding real bad. Looks like a light color grease but sets up quick and tacky for a little bit but does not get brittle and crack off.

Had one whose ears had been chewed on a lot and had a squirter vein that would puddle in the dog box. tried everything that was a temporary fix until I stuck the poker in the woodstove and cauterized the ear. Never has a problem after that.
