Computer Hacked

My computer was hacked today and most of the contacts on my e-mail list are getting bogus e-mails about a document to sign. Don't open and don't enter any passwords to open. It clever that once you open it and your e-mail is locked you get a bogus number to call and fix it and your talking to the crooks on the phone.

Sorry if anyone gets this email from me. Send to trash as soon as possible.

Todd the crazy this is we were expecting a document to electronically sign when this bogus e-mail happened to show up. I told the bookkeeper to open it and total heck broke out. It started sending them documents out from my address book and the worse thing is I was locked out of my email account. When I tried to get in I was given a number to call which I did but suspected it was a bogus number even though they sounded like my email account. While talking to them I googled the number I was given to call and saw it was fraud also. I told them I would call them back. lol

Bruce this may be a part of the email problem from about a week ago. Windows has a patch to close the back door from this trash. We down loaded windows patches on all our computers last week and haven't had a problem.

I also got the e-mail, but it was spam, I never open them. Norton caught it.

That's why I have a 2 spare computer hd's and back up every night so if I get a bad email or virus I can get bact to normal in less than 30 min , go get you a passport drive bruce at wally world and copy your hdd after your fixed and you will be all set with a back up
