Valu-Pak Users!
I have a few questions.
1. What were you feeding before you made the switch? And what formula are you feeding?
2. What is the difference you see in it?
3. Are you feeding the same amount as your previous feed? Or are you feeding a little less or a little more?
4. Have you raised a litter of pups on it? And with what formula? And how did they do?

I used the 24-20 for about 5 years and went to something else for about 5 years. Now I am feeding the 2 meat no corn 26-18. Real dark stool and dogs don't drink a lot of water. Dogs look ok. For $20.00 a bag it will do. I feed the same amount no matter the brand.
Feeding the 28/20. Was feeding Victor 24/20. See absolutely no difference in the dogs in any way. Feeding amount has not changed. I have a friend raising a litter on the 28/20 and his pups look great. My dad is feeding the 26/18 and his dog is doing great on it as well.
The 28/20, 26/18 and 22/12 formulas are now corn, soy, wheat and gluten free.

I feed one dog Victor 26-18 and another dog and 2 pups get val-oak 28-20 the dog on Victor has dark, tight stools very little waste. The others are noticeably lighter like cardboard colored and looser. As far as energy levels I can't compare the two, I don't hunt the pups yet and they young dog doesn't get hunted much. I like the victor better, by far not really any comparison.
Been feeding the 24/20 for several years. Fed Plantation before. Dogs do good on it and it has Omegas 3/6 and dogs stay slick and shiny and hold up good on it. Also has calcium iodiate and I've not experienced any thyroid problems. Puppies prefer it over puppy chow so the last litter I raised never got anything but the 24/20 and raised them all with no structure problems.
24/20 is what I am feeding this young dog is looking good on it purina dog chow just was not enough for him but he don't have real tight stools on it I might try the purina again in the summer they changed somthing or I got a couple bad bags one. I might try mixing it.
.
im feeding the black bag to a couple pups around 8 months old.ive been feeding it for about 2 months.i was feeding diamond but had to try the valu pac when I saw the price.im feeding the same amount and the dogs look great.not a lot of stool and my pups seem to love the taste.
