Exceptional cross made today

Pigeon River Dowhat Dixie ( #7 on current reproducers list) was bred to Dual Grand Pigeon River Big Red Jim. We made this cross once already and all are making fine hounds with big mouths.

What does Dixie's full pedigree look like and who is the Gr Nt Ch that she produced?

Don't hold me to it, but I think it was the Boo Boo dog that Jeff Jointer used to own! If my memory serves me right, he said that Boo was out of a bear dog!

John

Yes Dixie produced Grand Night Boo Boo, from Smokey mt slugger (bear dog) Nt Ch Pigeon River Little Red Gus from spring river gus and a litter mate to gus named baby that is night ch. The first cross from Jim are looking real nice too. Sam Brown and Paul Gingrich each have one.

Danny, I got that from Wilson's pedigree. I didn't realize that he and Boo Boo were littermates. Isn't it strange that they both had "treeing style idiosyncracies"? Wasn't Boo Boo's sire "that bear dog" line bred Rusty Red? It is funny how that works. And isn't Jim's mother Rusty Red bred also?

Richard,
I don't know what that big ol word you used means but anyways what ever happen to Boo Boo and what kind of tree style did he have and did Wilson have the same style.

Wilson was a littermate to Dixie not Boo Boo.

Danny B, I had a "senior moment". I have a lot of those lately. Thank goodness for that edit button. Danny M, Wilson chewed and Boo Boo dug but they were both extremely hard nice tree dogs when they weren't chewing or digging.
