Dog houses
What are the best dog houses to use? Saw some for sale at the SETW that looked nice & didn't seem to be too expensive, but can't remember the vendors name.
55 gal plastic barrels cheap and easy.

I use drums. Then the other day I decided to build a place on top of it so the dog can lay up there and it comes out far enough over the front and will keep rain out. All I did was cut a pallet in half. Then nailed a hard piece of flooring to it. Then put one part under barrel and piece on top and nailed em together. Turned out great. Dog lays up there all the time. Im gonna put em all my barrels.

Heres some i made out of 30 gal drums and the dogs out grew them so i made some out of 55 gal drums. Same idea and concept just bigger drums

I did figure out to make it best. I will need 2 pallets but they free bout anywhere you look around here.

thats a good ideal duck. i put a 30 gal.drum inside a 55 gal. drum then built plywood box around it,then i put a pallet under it to get it off the ground. i got the plywood out of a dumpster and somebody gave me the drums so the only thing i got in it is the nails i used which was about a couple of bucks.lol
Here's one I fixed up. Keeps rain out and barrel from rolling but if you have one that will climb. Do not put in corner.
