MAN, I'm gonna miss this!!!!

As many of you know I'm moving to Lexington this weekend due to lack of work in Pike Co KY and 27,000 people drawing unemployment here. The place I'm moving to allows NO PETS!!!! . The brother in law and I took the hounds out tonight and ran 4 tracks total they holed the first one up and we looked at 3 trees with the meat. I sure am going to miss these old east KY mountains and running my hounds. But dads keeping them so maybe every now and again I can come home and go hunting.......

Man

Trust me u are moving to a place where eventually u can find a place to keep ur dogs. And not to mention there's hunting bout 20 min away where u can tree three times more coons than pike county. But I undersea there's something bout these mountains that will never leave you. You can leave these mountains but the mountains want ever leave you.

Thanks guys, I really don't want to leave home in these ol mountains I sure am going to miss it. But unless you can make a living on a minimum wage job there is nothing here to make a living at. I am hoping to get settled in Lexington area and hopefully find a spot or 3 to hunt there and dad said he would come down and coon hunt with me when he could if I can find a spot. Hopefully after we get moved and settled in and working good. I am thinking of buying a place where I can do what I want pet wise.......

I know exactly where your talking about. I grew up in the breaks and don't live to far from there now, well until this weekend anyway. Some of my family is from Big Ridge in Haysi.

Anyone on here in the Lexington area that has places to hunt and needs someone to go with them or knows of a place I may be able to hunt . Shoot me a message I LOVE to coon hunt, Deer hunt and hunt about anything that moves. I'll be moving there this weekend and know no one from the area or no where to hunt in the area.

I heard that. I make it down twice a year, in 08 I took a young dog down for 4 days to get him some real exercise 4 the s.s.. He was good to go when he hit the flat land. Ruff hunting for sure. Good luck w your move.
