My son killed an albino doe a few years ago in SW MO . He was hunting w/ his uncle @ the time . I was worried about the legallity of it in Mo , but after some checking figured out he was ok . As mom I could have never pulled the triggure on her but for a teenage boy she was seen as a once in a lifetime deer. Since then I know there have been several pie-bald deer (white w/ brown) sited in that area .

back in the 60s they was a boy that killed a buck that wasn't quite all white it had some brown patches on it i forget what thier called but there was a guy that own a huge farm he bought some pure white deer and turn them loose on his farm i don't know what the law is in wv is on killing albino deer if there is any

The white ones with brown patches are called pie-balds . We were gonna get my sons deer full body mounted it took up a small deep freezer , had it wrapped up in a blanket . The taxidermist told us to gut it & leave it hole. He was gonna give us a good deal on it if we would let him take it to a taxidermy show.
Our freezer went out with the albino deer in it , we didn't realize it until we were trying to find the bad smell in the laundry room ...long story short she never got mounted but we got lots of pics. Not even any meat or jerky .

I seen a true albino one time in Putnam county that was a 6 pt but it was in the summer in a field late one evening before dark that was years ago I mighteve been 4 or 5 at the time but theres a pi bald doe that comes out alongside the interstate all the time by the house a few miles up the road going to Charleston been there for 3 years now see it all the time . theres no laws in wv against killing albino's , pi bald's or the all black deer called melism's . my uncles brother killed a all black 4 pt in gilmer county in the early 90's
