World Hunt Incentive Program Stud Auction

In case some of you have missed it , There is a Stud auction going on right now to support the WHIF Program.

Click here to view available dogs and to bid > http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthrea...eadid=928315329

This money will go to support the WHIF program for World Hunt winners and will promote ALL our B&T's in top Competition. I feel like all of us should support this endeavor to put our breed on top..

Even if you don't own a female , go and bid any amount to help this worthy cause... Thank you.

Wow , there are a bunch of Bargins listed on there. Some top dogs still don't have a single bid , like Rebel , Smokey 7 , Black Bart , Buddy , Batman , etc... That's a bunch of GrNt's going cheap.

Even if you don't have a female to breed , go an bid and these dogs and help the B&T breed. Lets raise some money here

Oh and by the way , give a thanks to Jamie Swan and Corrie Jeffries for doing this job... This is two of your ABTCHA board members doing what they can to help out, so tell them thanks for their efforts.

I beleive putting a one yr limit on using the certificate will slow down the bidding.......

It might.... But apparently a lot of Stud owners didn't want a long term obligation and that's their right.... Besides , it's not so much about getting something for very little, as it is about just trying to raise some money to benefit the whole B&T breed. I applaud Jamie and Corey for making an effort.

I've won a few bids in the past that were for a good price , and have bid again ... I haven't used any , but did give one to another guy once.

I think the stud auction is like those benefit auctions where they bid on people for charity ... some are cheap , it's kind of an eye opener as to where the breed is at .

I like the 1yr limit , but as a consistant donator .... I don't think it's fair to not be able to swap it off ... If I buy a stud fee , and the stud owner agrees to donate one ... then letting someone else use it is not that out of bounds .... someone with a gyp that is closer or comes into heat before the deadline can use it so I still get a pup ...

I don't mind if I choose to not use it , but if we want solid donations on a consistant basis instead of the low bids ... we need to make sure folks are getting a return .
