kids these days

my grandaughter came in the house today seen some hamburger on the counter said that aint store bought i said no its from that black cow me and my buddy butcherd im gonna make chili she said i aint gonna eat none that stuff from that ole cow try to tell her its better than store bought but she dont want nothin to do with it any y'all got kids or grandkids like that

My granddaughter is exactly the opposite. One day when she was about 5 years old I asked her what we should make for dinner, and she said "Lamb stew - grandma, you make the best lamb stew. Have you got any lamb? You know, dead sheep!"
That girl knows exactly where her food comes from, isn't the least bit squeamish, and will never grow up to be a vegetarian!

hey ole buddy ya better get her started off right get her a red dog lol yea them grandkids are precious she loves being around horses rideing and rideing the practice sled around the track when we exersice the pulling horses or ponies likes to drive them if they aint all outa whack wantin to go lol

You could do like my mom did years ago when I was a kid.we had raised a calf to butcher.come time to eat it my little sister wouldn't eat it said it was her friend.mom went to the store bought a couple packs of beef cooked them up and saved the packages.whenever she would cook the calf we raised after that she would lay those empty packages out where my sister could see them,she would see them and think it was store bought beef and eat it never did figure out what mom was doing.

lol thats 1 way to do it when i was growimg up i fed everything we ate beef hogs chickens even help butcher them times were alittle ruff on our farm you either ate what we had or go hungry i can rember my 1 sister would sit and cry at the supper table didnt like this or that she spent alot of time sitting at that table till she clean her plate up dont know why people think why people cant see the meat they get outa the store came from a cow or hog they just put a bunch of perserveites in it
