One of my hunting buddies also said he hasn't been seeing any coon tracks either. We live in Meigs County in Southeastern Ohio. Typically coon semi hibernate in Dec, lay up completely at the first stretch of bad weather, then first warmer snap will get them moving again and in full rut. Looking for that to start this weekend if the weather forecast is correct.

put out feed

the first sign of snow I put out some feed just to see if they were moving much. I have not seen any tracks in the snow...I don't think we have many coons this year and they are laid up for sure around here.

I hunted lastnight. Treed a slick and a brush pile. Seen a lot of coon tracks near some dens along the creek. They might be startin to move a little

Here in northeast Ohio we've got about a foot of snow on the ground. We're not going to be getting out anytime soon!
