Coon Hunter's right???

Who's stands behind the hunter's and bench shower's of our sport?

The reason for the question is we have a local club that has screwed people from 12 years old to 75 years old... I know all complaints aren't as one thinks... At this time I am not gonna mention any names of the people or the club invovled.. I have personally filled a complaint with UKC with the certain club and have never heard any responce back in this has been well over three years ago...
I feel that weather any complaint filled is in the favor of the club or the person filling the complaint all parties should recieve a responce... If the kennel club weather it be UKC, AKC, PKC or who ever can't take the time to repsonded to your complaints then why fool with such kennel club??? I know everone don't go through the proper procedures they just complain to everyone without taking the proper actions.
When the president of a club hold an event screws a youth they will screw anyone.. or any one for that matter.. They should be teaching the youth not taking advantage of thier enexpierence...
What brings the thread up is just in August of this year a English Sectional was held and a 12 year boy won the Queen of show and the boy still hasn't recieved his trophy he was told that the trophies hadn't came in yet and when they came in they would mail it out to him... This young man traveled from another state to participate. I was contacted by the the young mans father to see what I could find. So I went on a mission... I was told by two club members that the hunt trophies/plaques were given out that night. I then personally contected the club's secretary that held the hunt ans was told that it had been mailed thats been about three weeks ago and still nothing... I advised the guy to contact the English Breeders and Franciers Association and UKC... He advised me he had contacted both The Association said they was nothing they could do I not sure what UKC has told the guy... This matter is only a very small issue of what goes on at the club.. Things like this is why attendences are down... How can things be resolved if you have no one to back you.. I also advised the guy to verify the address with the club to see where it was mailed to. When I spoke with them they could even give me an exact date it was mailed... This maybe not such a deal to some but what if this was you or your twevle year old child.. Theses type clubs need investigated... I have nothing in this I don't know them on a personal on a note. The guy notified me that he goning to attend and he wanted be to look for him if I was their he wanted to meet me. I then advised him that I no longer went there because of the crooked ways and look what happened to his son... I hope the hosting club gets what they got coming to them... I stand behind our youth 100% and the last thing we need to do is leave them discouraged... THIS IS WRONG and needs help from UKC or the ASSOCIATION or we should just quit attended these hunts at all... If we have no one to back us up then why fill their bank accounts with cash??? Please not I am not bashing UKC or the Association it just trouble me that this type of things are going on everywhere and really need prompt actions taken...

I wouldnt worry about the trophy so much, Ive had one better than that pulled on me. I was at a bench show at a local club, and won best of show registered male, received my trophy and my win slip which was the best of show I needed to make my dog show champion. I never received my new easy entry card or confirmation from UKC, so when I contacted them they told me that there was a mistake with the show judge, and that he filled out 2 best of show male win slips. When UKC contacted the judge to figure out which dog actually won, the judge said the other dog. LOL. I told UKC that I had at least a dozen witnesses that could say I won the show and had my win slip, and asked why I wasnt contacted to be informed of the mishap, and just got, "We're sorry, these things happen"....guess thats just the way it goes sometimes. At least it was a bench show and not a night hunt

lol i lost a best of show cause the show judge wrote the age of the dog down wrong ! The best part was she was the only female of breed there so she atmaticly won breed an class!!! UKC said it was my fault for not checking! Hahaha they didnt re fund my money ethier!!!

This is why young hunters don't want to participate why would they when they get taken advantage of and cheated. I know a few youngens that was interested in competition hunting and now they would rather hunt by themselves and frankly I don't blame them!

It is not just Coon Hound Hunts and it is not just UKC.

As for the English Association, After complaing again this year like I have complained the last 3 years, I finally got my yearbook. And, again like last year, my name is not on the membership roll. The English Association pays a member $1000 to do the year books. She should do it right for all of the members, not just the ones she likes.

So, Junior, what are you going to do about things like what happened to the boy? I would give him one of my trophys but I gave them all to youth at the local bench shows for the kid's show.

Wow is that all they Pay Rhonda for doing all the work on those yearbooks? At least she makes her small amount of money honestly! And she is a very honest person!

First off she does the adds, its the membership chairman that sends yearbooks. And you have been complaining about the UEB&FA since 2003 when I first logged onto this site.LOL
