Tracker Flashers
Does anyone know if you can purchase the rubber housing that slips on the collar for these flashing lights, or do you have to purchase the whole thing? I keep breaking the little strap that holds the unit on the collar. I see you can buy some that rivet on, are these better? Duct tape works for a while but not the answer. At $20 each getting tired of having to replace them when both ends break and the duct tape comes loose.

They hold up better if you zip tie them on. I don't even use the rubber mounts on mine. I took them off right away and just used zip ties and they have held up for years.

Mine always break too. I just use electrical tape and tape them on my GPS collar, been on for 2 yrs, and never came off again.

I have the one's that rivet on from nite lite. I have had the same ones for three years and have never had any problems with them.
zip ties
Yes they work very good.. i use 2 on each lite , just go down through the plastic tab on one side of the lite , under collar , back through the tab on the lite on the other side , back under collar to the lock head on the zip tie..each zip tie is doubled under collar side.......mine are all mounted on my dc 30 collars............

Packing and backing. Keep those buckets full
I have a homemade remedy
Take a real heavy piece of nylon(like what a belt is made from) and cut a piece 2" wide and just a hair over 3 1/2 " long. In the center is a hole 1 5/8" diam. On the ends, cut a slit 1 1/8" long and a 1/4" wide. Make the slits a little over a 1/4 in from the ends. Now place your lite into the center hole. Take your collar and slip it in the first slit and feed it through the bottom of your lite and back out through the slit on the other end. This will hold the lite intact on your collar. Have used the same one for about 3 years.

Thanks for all the ideas, very helpful. Now that I've lost all my lights except 1 I have to order more and I'll have to use these ideas so I don't have to buy more. LOL! Thanks again.
