oh my bad, i hunt all over and i haul my dogs alot in the daytime

that will work right there ben, good job. that will keep the dogs cooler than any dog box.

I'd suggest welding a rail at the bottom so it can't slide out. I had one very fancy I heliarched together out of Aluminum sow crates. I was toodling up I-95 with out a dog and some fellow got beside me and pointed back> I looked and the box was teetering , then it flopped out. I got to the next exit and turnd around to fetch it. Made the next exit and got straight and got back to where my box ought to be and three cars had busted radiators and all steamed up . I just kept on gettin.
