Ohio state youth hunt

Can anyone tell me why the Ohio state youth hunt is in October. After the youth nationals. If I'm wronge about the date please let me know. Ohio kids won't have a hunt to get our kids to the national?

After our phone conversation I made some phone calls. One of the biggest reasons it was moved back to Oct. Is the Children's Hospital event is 2 weeks from the April date the youth hunt was last year and it is hard to get raffle items for both event 2 weeks apart. We can't blame the tenors for not giving to both so close together. Talk to me a this weekend.

Ok thanks I understand just all parent will have to tavel to get the kids qualified to the nationals

Kids can also qualify for Nationals by placing in a Yep Event. So if any clubs in your area are holding a Yep event then that will be a way to try and get qualified.

Also Nationals holds the last chance qualifier on Friday and then a non-qualified hunt on Saturday at the same time as the qualified hunt.

So plan to go to Nationals even if your kids are not qualified before hand because there is a whole set of kids that will be qualified as of Friday night!!

There will be great hunting this year for Nationals in Northern Indiana and the kids always have a great time qualified or not!!
