Two pretty young lone pine pups doing their thing!
Two great young pups from our kennel. One shown is 5 months old, (a male) and the other is 7 months old. (female). Out of our old lone pine finley river bred hounds. Male is out of FCH WCH CH Lone Pine Judy x CH Sharp Tooth Kennels Hercules. The female is really hardline old lone pine finley river blood (old Kate, World CH Tree Picking Bill, Lone Pine Dewey) The female has been running and treeing since she was 5 months old. Hercules is out of our Sharp Tooth's Goliath (Lone Pine Cowboy (Tug) x Slobber Slinging Poison. This is the male's second time on a caged coon. His grandfather is World CH Jimmy D's Handsome Hank. These are big blanketbacked long legged walkers.
Sharp Tooth's Lone Pine Finley River Lil and Sharp Tooth's Lone Pine Odin
A close up, not as clear but hard to get as excited as they were.
We have more great pups available at our kennels. Out of equally great parents already showing a lot of conformation, grit and potential.
You can see them at www.sharptoothkennel.mysite.com
Very nice. What county are you from? I live in Perry County, PA and am in Fulton County quite a bit.

2 Young Pretty Pups
We are actually in Bedford County but border Fulton County at the Southern tip.
I like the mules too. I spend a good bit of time at Clark Farms (quarter horse farm) in Hustontown. A fellow by the name of Jack Clark owns it. I'm taking a couple of my dogs up there the second weekend of October.

Thanks! We do enjoy our mules...makes some hunts a lot more workable for us. How far is Hustontown, I know I've heard of it.
Hustown
It's about 45 miles from you just off the PA Turnpike. It's not far from McConnellsburg.

Hope to have pups this spring but quite a waiting list.
Sharptooth pups
I purchased two pups last year out of Sharptooth Bear.
They were two of the best pups I have ever raised, and I have raised a lot of pups. They were nine months old at the start of the 2012 bear training season. I sent one to Virginia with a friend to hunt him for me and I hunted one. By the end of the season he had been on a total of 35 bears between training season and kill season. He was put in at the start and packed in on several occasions. That pup never quit one race. He treed as good as any of the older dogs as well as stayed with the mean ones on the ground. I have never had a pup under a year old do that well. My buddy John who was hunting his brother said he was doing just as well and was responsible for strightening out one track that the old dogs took backwards, he tried to buy him that night. Steve and Levina were great people to deal with. I have one other pup from them that is now six months old and he is doing a great, i had a man from WV. offer me a Thousand dollars for him. They raise some nice pups, get one if you can. If you look on there web sight you can see my pups treeing and grabbing some bears.
