Full Moon

We had us a heck of a hunt last night. Two men, two twelve year old boys, three hounds and miles of beautiful Virginia woods and swamps to coonhunt . We made three turnouts with 2 coons on the outside and 1 slick. We left home with high hopes, Mt. Dew and peanut M&M's and came home tired and happy. All under the light of the silvery moon. Ain't life grand?

Me and my buddy had a good hunt also, made 5 trees , had 3 on the outside and 2 big hollows. I like these full moon nights, alot easier to find a coon.

full moon

Wealso had a good night last night made 4 trees - 2 in big bull pines loaded with vines and 2 on the out side, excellent night, for a B&t and two Redbones and a couple rednecks.

THE OL' GIRL MUSTA BEEN LOOKIN' DOWN ON US TONIGHT. JANET'S 13 YEAR OLD GOT THINGS STARTED FOR US TONIGHT. EVEN GOT HER AND HER 12 YEAR OLD SON OFF A TREE TOGETHER. DOOBIE'S NEW DOG GOT ONE BY HIMSELF. JANET'S YOUNG BITCH AND MY YOUNG MALE MADE 2 TREES WITH DA MEAT AND FINISHED OFF THE NIGHT BY CATCHIN' ONE ON THE GROUND.

She's been dead for 20 years. I sometimes forget them that have already departed. I never forgot the "first " one I ever trained.(or should I say that trained me)

I got a short video of Janet's old dog and her son if I can figure how to pull it back up. She'll be home this evening, so I know I'll be able to post it then.

had a heck of a time also, made 4 trees, 2 den 1 coon on outside, and one big ol tree that fell in the river, and my dog went all the way down the tree to the water goin crazy, aint no tellin how far that coon swam to get away lol. my young female went off by herself too that night, didnt do much good but tis a start.
