Nope, asked the vet once cause I wondered the same thing. Human body gives off something a little differnt she said wont work. PS tried it anyway, thing said nope and got 8 puppies.

e.p.t

the only way other than waiting the 63-65 days that I know of is taking the female to the vet and get an ultra sound.

They do make a pregnancy test for dogs......rather pricey compared to human version. Can be used at 22 days gestation or after.

pregnancy test

The canine relaxin pregnancy determination test (blood test) is very accurate when done after 30 days gestation. I have done it with each breeding and it has been accurate every time. It just does not tell you how many.

Their are test kits avb. But be willing to pay over $100 for one.. !!

Like Drew Stated it must be over 22 days ..

I get my bred females ultrasounded at 27 days, then I know how many pups + or = 1or 2 and I can get prepared for the litter. My vet charges $65.00 for ultrasound and office visit.
