Getting Chilly! [Pics]

It's getting chilly here in NE Ohio and along with the predictions of snow comes the Plott Sectional, held this year in Cadiz on October 24th. We have been hunting a lot lately getting ready, very nearly every night. I'll be hunting Mister, and Kellie will be hunting his brother Thor....Mister is always fun to take a few photos of so I figured I'd share a few recent shots. Those green leaves will be no more after a few more frosts!

hey do u know what dog jamie is havin me hunt at winter classics? i talked to him on the phone the other night and he said i might be hunting dan but he didnt know... just wonderin if u knew?

He looks awesome! Is he as big as Thor? If I can find someone to cover my Saturday night shift we're hoping to make it to the sectional. Still waiting on my dog that's hunt-worthy but we'll be there to show if all works out! Hope to see you guys this weekend!

Katie, we sure hope you guys can make it! I think its gonna be one of the biggest Plott sectionals that the state has seen recently! Mister isn't nearly as big as Thor. Mister runs probably 55lbs in hunting shape and Thor is a monstrous 70 or so lol...I will more than likey show Mister and his sister Jade at the sectional as well...

WEATHER

GIVING ME A HEADACHE! LOL... We haven't had a chance to remove the ACs from our windows yet...and tit is POURING on the one right next to me... have NO where to go to get away from the noise! AHHhhhhhh!

Lovely Nor'Easter... 41 and rain... I haven't even gone to feed the chickens, cats and coon yet.... Not an emergency since we feed them WAY too much to begin with...But I feel like throwing in the towel... I am an old lady who needs to "retire" to FLORIDA! LOL....

Seriously, Fall is often a LOVELY time of year and the foxhunters(on horseback) DREAM of chasing the yotes and foxes across the street from us... this weather is the PITS for them since the wetlands will be a bit deep and slick... The coon family up in our hayloft is getting FAT. We had no new babies this yr but last yrs are back..and BLIMPS already. 1 cat interacts with 1 of the coons....kinda funny seeing the little cat chase the big coon around... Seeing how FAT and fuzzy the coon are scares me a bit... might be a LONG COLD winter!
SIGH..... BIG OLD SIGH....

HappyHunting, stay WARM and DRY and keep getting after those critters...and taking lots of PIX! I'm hoping that NEXT yr I may be strong enough to follow someones hounds thru the woods...am going to PT 2X a week and working HARD to get some muscles around my old spine working! So far SO GOOD TOO! YAY! I promise the next time WE get out...we WILL rememeber we have cameras too!
