Morris Barbour may he rest in peace
Last week Morris " Whitey" Barbour passed away following a battle with cancer . Whitey was an honest ,respectable, talented, father, husband, and houndsman for over 50 years. He was known for his ability to train hounds and get the most out of them. He owned many Champions and Grands but recently was the owner of Barbours Goldie a phenomenal hound that any man would be proud to own. Whitey was known and respected by some of the most respected breeders and hunters around the country and was a Judge in at least one UKC World hunt. His son Ronnie is also a respected hunter and am sure he is grieving the loss of his lifelong hunting partner. I send out my deepest condolences to Whiteys family and enjoyed hunting with him so much throughout the years. I will miss Whitey as I am sure many of you will! Rest in peace old friend....

for the Barbour Family. I had the chance to meet Whitey at the Danville Coon Club some yrs back. He guided our cast and later on had the chance to hunt against Ronnie on a couple occassions and we always had a good hunt. Prayers up for the Family of Whitey and May God Truly Bless them all.

It was sad to hear about the news
Whitey was truely a good man. He was good to all and would take the time to talk and help you. I have been knowing Whitey since the late 80's and he has been the same way all the time. He would call and ask how you been doing. My wife would talk about how nice he was when they talked on the phone. May God be with his family. Ronnie I will be talking with you.

A Great Man
My father Bob Dalton and Whitey were hunting buddies and friends for over 40 years. I was one of his hunting buddies also.
I wish you all could have seen all the pollbearers and all of the graveside hunters with our hunting light on and shining as we took him to the gravesite. It was so beautiful and approperiate for Whitey.
Ronnie, Diane and Mary Ellen are some of the finest people I have ever met.
My family misses Whitey everyday
