some May huntin' pictures!

Here are some pictures we have taken this month. I have only been taking the camera about once a week because I haven’t been bothering taking the camera because of the heat and how hot the dogs get at the tree I don’t like being there any longer than we have to be, but on the cool nights I will take it…We have been huntin’ at least 4 nights a week and it has been hot and thick!
We took Rebel and Pear alone the beginning of the month…they made one tree together that was too think to shine then Rebel got on a den by herself.

Took Mister and Pearl alone about a week or two ago. Mister got first strike and first tree on a grubby track and pushed it really nice, Pearl was close right behind him every step of the way! Too thick to see anything, again!

Took Dawn, Dog, and my 5 month old secret weapon. We made 3 trees in about 15 minutes. The 1st was a den tree, which dawn was about 6 feet up in, Dog was there and my secret weapon checked the tree and got up in it with Dawn…the next tree Dawn was on was just a coon that lost the rings on his tail!! and the last tree was Dog’s split tree which was a thick leaner…

And I just got back in from taking Mister out for a drop by himself. He struck in about 20 seconds and treed about a minute later of giving every breath to a bawl on track. The little trees were too thick to even shine the tree he was on…looked and sounded good on it, made me proud!

All them darn leaves, bugs and heat I don't know why we summer hunt lol. In the winter its the cold and snow lol!!

thanks everyone! their a lot of fun to hunt they are still adjusting the weather just like I am!!! lol...

wes- she definitly is a fireball...I can't wait until she is about 2 months older!!!

like Danielle said, bugs, heat and leaves in the summer and snow and cold in the winter. in the winter we're saying can't wait till summer and in the summer were saying cant wait till winter!!! lol....
