me and my dad went to B.C for a spring bear hunt. had a great time and shot a booner....more pics will come tonight.

I'm also curious about the weight. How much do they figure a bear like that loses during the winter? As big as he was now, imagine what that brute would have looked like last fall !

thanks guys.....
im not sure what it weighed..we didnt have a scale in camp.

im guessing around 400. it took all 4 of us to load it in the ranger.
its skull is 8 3/4 wide and 13 long. but its still green.
im thinking its gonna net in the 20's. it should be a booner.

we laughed all day and made fun of each other......
would have liked to jump over and meet you as well but didnt have enough time. you sure got some nice country up there.

mabey next year i'll get a cat hunt with you????

p.s you might want to call stacy....he's wanting to learn to run cats and get a few dogs started.....i recomended he get ahold of you.....might as well start with the best.
