Elmwood Results

Anyone up that hunted last night? If so please post results.

Posted by josh on 11-04-2007 04:24 PM:

NTCH was won with 50+ I believe.

Open was 850+.

Only 1 NTCH cast and 2 registered, cant remember who won what....I hate to guess.

Steve, Did you guys get any treed last night?

We hunted around the water, saw more beaver than coon.

Nt Ch cast was won by Donny's dog,
1st Open was won by Dave Patzner with a Red dog with 850+
and once again, Toph's Wild Sky handled by me won 2nd with 225+.
I sure am glad the night hunt season is over. I am just plain sick of UKC hunts. If her CWs were in AKC she'd be a Gr Nt with wins towards Supreme Gr Nt.
Thanks to Jon Podoll for guiding and judging. We managed to stay on top of the mountains around there.

Cardell, Did you guys catch anything on the ground or just boo hoo all night?

Red Dog

The Red dog that won opens last night at Elmwood was PR T-Top Dark Timber Spook. Dave says they had a good hunt with no trouble and saw some coons on good tracks and trees...can't ask for much more than that.

Congratulations to Dave and Spook!

Then go hunt them AKC hunts. You knew before you entered that there was going to be only ONE winner!

Do you know how much money you could win with that dog?.................Now ask if I care.

what kind of scores has she had? I know with rebel he had quite a few seconds and some of them were with pretty high scores. I like UKC and there format but i guess thats just my opinion.

Nite Hunts

Dave has been doing Nite hunts for a lot of years already, we've just taken a break from them for the last couple of years. It's easy to get burned out after awhile so it's sometimes a good thing to take a break and enjoy the dogs. We've started a new batch of nice young dogs so I'd bet we'll be seen a bit more over the next couple of years again. Over the last 10 years or so Dave and I have finished a lot of dogs including
Rat (Gr. Nite)
Raven (Dual Grand Ch)
Rabble Rouser )Dual Gr. Ch.)
Biscuit (Dual Ch.)
Shorty (Nite Ch.)
Rocky (Dual Ch.)
Maude (Dual Ch.)
Dixie (Nite Ch.)
Some wins on Rebel (Dual Gr. Ch.)
Ruger (Dual Ch.)

Dave is no stranger to Nite Hunts...More to come...
