-- Harold Moore passes on (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=160826)
Harold Moore passes on
Harold Moore ,of Irvington ,Ky passed away yesterday evening. Harold had been battling a fast spreading and violent form of cancer that started in his intestines and moved thru the lymphatic system into his liver. I think Harold was 70 or 71. He was an avid coonhunter for most of his life and also bird hunted, and the last few years had slowed on his hunting and had become very active as a bass tournament fisherman. Harold was always known to be one of the tougher coonhunters in the area and there wasn't many hollows from Fort Knox to Owensboro that Harold hasn't hunted in.
Harold also was known for the "Moore" Light that he built for coonhunters in our area.
He will be missed
Harold will be at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington ,Ky but I don't have the particulars as to when he 'll be buried .
As fellow coonhunters I would ask that you keep Harolds wife ,Nellie ,and his family in yours prayers.

Thoughts and Prayers
For the Moore family from the William Family. Every loss from cancer hits close to home. My dad and every member of his family who has died(except war dead) has died from some form of cancer. I pray every day for a cure. I pray for the Moore family loss. May Harold's memories live on with in each of them and the others he touched in his lifetime.
I'm sincerely sorry for the loss, Heather William
Our prayers are with the family

Thank you all
thank you all for your thoughts and prayers
Yes heather I know myself the pain that cancer places on a whole family . I lost my mother to cancer when I was 12 years old and she was only 34. That was back in 1966 when the only thing they knew to do for it was to burn you up with radiation.
Thank you
......went blue ........I saw your prayer request on another post also and your friend has my thoughts and prayers . I hope the surgery goes well for him and he's able to recover
