Breaking news on Cyanide's Sheriff Andy

Is your club broke?

I would say that the answer to this is no. That is unless your club has huge bills or has someone dipping into the cash drawer. Why do I ask this? Well, all of us like to hunt and all of us enjoy laws that allow us to free cast dogs. What if you couldn’t hunt and couldn’t free cast dogs?

Every day there is some tree hugger that is looking at different angles to take away your right to hunt. Every day there is possible new legislation that could affect you and your dogs. It’s easy to sit back and wait until it affects you or you can be pro-active. Am I saying that you need to get politically active? No. Some people enjoy that type of thing and some people don’t. Some people are good at it and some people are not. Do you want to know who is really good at it? The US Sportsmen’s Alliance. They are busy EVERY day protecting your right to hunt. They are watching potentially harmful legislation in EVERY state EVERY day. They are spending their money to fight the anti’s.

Do you know where they get their money? All of it comes from contribution from individuals and clubs. It takes a lot of money to fight the anti-hunters. I am making a public challenge to all clubs of all registries to monetarily support the US Sportsmen’s Alliance. Just go to their web site and see how to become a member personally or as a club. If you do it now, you will be glad later.

Feel free to post this on any message board of your choice
