Registration Questions

I have a 1 year old male American Bully. His registration UKC papers say's American Pit Bull Terrier. I have not sent his paperwork in yet but would like to know if I can register him and do the breed change at the same time? Also, I purchase a female American Bully that has ABKC paperwork and she is 6 months old. I have not sent her paperwork in as well. Do I need to register her first with ABKC and then request her to be submitted for consideration in the UKC?
