Ok guys I’m going to put everything in this post about this dog so I don’t get a bunch of texts asking questions... 3 yr old male bear hound . Kemp x walker . My buddy lost a dog last fall bought this dog outta West Virginia strictly for December kill season with intentions on selling him after December. I had some young dogs that weren’t proven liked what I saw out of him and bought him in January. Started hunting a couple weeks ago we’ve ran 5 treed 3 so he’s already getting in shape my pups are coming on good and I’m going to let this dog go . He is FAST and stays in on long rough chases I haven’t rigged him yet but he can and will RUN a track . He can lead a chase . He is tone broke . I road them for exercise he does awesome stays out in front of the Jeep gets outta sight tone him he’s right back to you . If the bear is low and he sees it trees good and hard on the ones that goes up he is a loose style tree dog . Seems to have plenty of grit and doesn’t quit on the ground . When I get home from hunting he goes back to his box. One reason I have elected to sell this dog is he DOES bark a lot on the chain I have neighbors who love to mention his barking .
